Kojic Acid is a natural by-product of fermenting rice, the same process behind Japanese sake. In skincare, it is prized for helping dark marks and patchy areas look more even. It works gradually, so consistent daily use matters. Paired with Niacinamide, it makes this kojic acid moisturiser an easy even-tone step for every day.

Niacinamide
Niacinamide is a water-soluble form of Vitamin B3 and one of skincare’s great multitaskers. It supports the skin’s own production of barrier lipids such as ceramides. In turn, skin holds on to moisture better. Over time, it also helps patchy, uneven areas look smoother and more even, including marks left by breakouts. Best of all, it is gentle and suits most skin types.

Devil’s Claw Extract

Aloe Vera: Aloe is rich in polysaccharides. Because of this, it calms and refreshes the skin with a cooling touch of hydration.

Safflower Oil: A light, linoleic-rich oil that sinks in quickly and keeps skin soft and supple.

Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride: A light, silky emollient from coconut oil. It softens skin and helps the cream glide on without a greasy feel.

Glycerin: A humectant that draws water into the outer layers of the skin and helps keep it there. As a result, skin feels hydrated rather than tight.

Propylene Glycol: A clear, lightweight humectant. It adds hydration and also helps the formula spread smoothly across the skin.

How to Use:

After cleansing, smooth a small amount over the face and neck, focusing on areas where tone looks uneven. Avoid the eyes and lips. Use morning or evening as your moisturiser. If your skin is sensitive, ease it in: start once a day, then build up as your skin adjusts. Always wear sunscreen during the day, as dark marks can return without sun protection. Avoid broken or irritated skin. Avoid layering with exfoliating acids, such as a glycolic toner, or Vitamin A products such as retinol or retinyl, in the same routine, as this may be sensitising.
