Vitamin A
Retinyl Palmitate is a gentle, oil-soluble form of Vitamin A. Over time, the skin converts it into its active form. In turn, it supports the skin’s natural renewal, so skin looks smoother and more refined. Because it is an ester, it is milder than pure retinol. That makes this 1% retinyl serum an easy way to bring Vitamin A into a light, water-based routine.

Panthenol
Panthenol is Pro-Vitamin B5. Once on the skin, it converts to pantothenic acid. For this reason, it is a favourite for soothing dry, tight-feeling skin and supporting a healthier-looking barrier. Because it attracts moisture, it also adds a quiet boost of hydration.

Aloe Ferox

Rose Water: The fragrant water collected when damask roses are steam-distilled. It gives the serum a fresh feel and helps skin feel refreshed.

Green Tea Extract: Rich in antioxidant polyphenols such as EGCG, green tea helps defend skin against everyday stress. It also leaves skin feeling refreshed.

Vitamin E: Tocopherol is a fat-soluble antioxidant. Because of this, it helps defend skin against everyday environmental stress. Vitamin E also conditions dry patches, leaving skin soft and cared for.

Glycerin: A humectant that draws water into the outer layers of the skin and helps keep it there. As a result, skin feels hydrated rather than tight.

Texture ingredients: Polysorbate 80, Glycol Distearate and Xanthan Gum give the serum its light, milky texture. As a result, it glides on easily and sinks in without a greasy film.

Phenoxyethanol, Ethylhexylglycerin, Sodium Benzoate & Potassium Sorbate: A paraben-free, formaldehyde-free system that protects against bacteria, yeast and mould. As a result, it keeps the product fresh from first use to last.

Disodium EDTA: Not a preservative, but a helper. It binds the trace minerals naturally found in water, so they cannot affect the formula. As a result, the product stays clear, fresh and working as it should.

How to Use:

Use in the evening. After cleansing and toning, smooth two to three drops over the face and neck, avoiding the eyes and lips. As Vitamin A takes some getting used to, ease it in: start with two to three evenings a week and build up as your skin adjusts. Follow with moisturiser or a facial oil. Always wear sunscreen during the day. Contains Vitamin A. Not for use during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Avoid broken or irritated skin. Avoid layering with exfoliating acids such as glycolic, lactic or salicylic acid, or other Vitamin A products, in the same routine. You can still use both on the same day. For example, use the acid in the morning and this serum at night. For external use only. Patch test before first use.
